After reading an online news story about a woman who supposedly makes over $5,500 online with Google AdSense, I followed a link in that story to a site that was suppose to show how this woman got started. It referred to something called Google BizKit and pointed to this URL https://www.internetmoneyengine.com/. (NOTE: This site is not associated with Google in any way shape or form)
Upon reviewing the website I found that they offered access to the information that I was seeking for a price of $1.95. I suspected that this would turn out to be completely useless information just like all of those recycled ebooks floating around the internet being sold by other scammers but I thought it was worth $1.95 to find out. As a Internet computer programmer by trade I carefully reviewed the site before making my purchase to ensure that there were not other hidden charges beyond the $1.95.
After I made my purchase and gained access to the website I found (as suspected) only useless information that can be obtained for free through any search engine, but that was ok, I understood that risk and was not upset about the $1.95.
But a few days later I noticed a charge to my bank account in the amount of $69.90 which I never authorized. When I contacted the company they told me that the $1.95 payment that I made was only for a 7 day trial and that I had agreed to a MONTHLY charge of $69.90 for access to their useless information.
I informed them that I never agreed to this nor was it ever presented to me on their website. Their website says NOTHING about a "trial period" nor does it say anything about further charges being made to your credit card. They refused to acknowledge the fraudulent nature of the charge and refused to refund it. I had to go to my bank and submit a dispute claim form which resulted in them "hot carding" my debit card so now I am without a debit card until a replacement is issued. And I have no idea on how long the dispute investigation will take either.
I went back to the website where I had originally made my $1.95 purchase and it took me (an internet programmer) a great deal of time and effort to find the small print and very well hidden disclaimer that says:
"By submitting this form I authorize Internet Money Engine to immediately charge my credit card for instant access to the Internet Money Machine. I hereby request that Internet Money Engine activate my account and authorize them to advance funds as indicated. Monthly Service fees will commences even days from the date of this purchase, and will be billed monthly thereafter. After the seven day trial you will be billed sixty nine dollars and ninety cents USD monthly for the continued access to the software. No refunds will be given for failure to use the requested and provided services. We reserve the right to transfer your billing to a third party Merchant of Record. This authority will remain in effect until revoked by me. You may cancel at anytime by writing to 368 Wrangler Road, Farmington UT 84025 or calling1-866-993-1415".
Now as I said, it took me a great deal of time and effort to locate this disclaimer when I was looking for it AFTER I had been ripped off. This disclaimer is not anywhere near the actual payment section where you make your $1.95 purchase nor is there any reference to it whatsoever. This disclaimer appears in the footer section of the site at the very bottom of the page. However, when you first go to the website it is not there...it changes to this once you begin the payment process with no indication that it has changed at all.
If fact, the site is programmed in such a way that it looks as though a small box on the top of the page has changed without reloading the page at all leading you to believe that no other information on the page has changed. It is clear that this has been done it such a way to prevent anyone from seeing this information so that nobody will ever know that they are about to be charged $69.90 a month!
Bottom Line: The small print text in the footer of the site on one page does not make what this site is doing legal in any way. You can not charge someone's credit card for any charge that has not been CLEARLY and prominently disclosed to them before a purchase commitment has been made.
The information contained in this website is not even worth the $1.95. It is certainly not worth even a one-time payment of $69.90 let alone a recurring monthly payment of $69.90.
The owner of this site obviously knows this or he would not be using such deceptive and illegal means to steal people's money from them. And this can only be described as theft!
Although it may be a bit embarrassing for me to admit that I actually fell for this scam, working in the profession that I do. I felt that I needed to do everything in my power to warn as many people as I could so others will not become a victum.
I created this blog to not only inform but to provide a space for others who have fell prey to this scam to comment and share there experiences as well.
In addition to taking action through my bank, I have also filed a formal complaint with my state's attorney General's office and I will be looking further into this site and others like it. I will post any progress and new information as I receive it. Follow this blog for updates.

thanks for post .. i was about to pay 1.25$ to this scam and i was like wait let me check some reviews and thank god i found yours...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help. The company I work for closed and I'm now unemployed. I was looking for other income opportunities. Thanks for saving me $$'s and other problems with this one. If it sounds to good to be true........
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it. That's why I put this blog up. Be sure to pass the word on to everyone you know so they won't get roped into this either.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the warning. This link to the google biz kit, has been popping up for ages, and I initially resisited, However the ad, had appeared again today. I was about to pay the 99c, To see what all the fuss was about.
ReplyDeleteI hope your blog gets lots of viewers. In this day and age, no one can afford to get ripped off like this. Thanks again for taking the time to warn others.
OMG it was 99c last time i check <_< this is awfull
ReplyDeleteI've just called my credit card company this morning and they are raising an investigation on it, as there is no-one I can get hold as the email address keeps boucing back and as I am in the UK I don't know the number to call before the 866-9931415!!! I did exactly the same with the $1.95 to see what it was about then there was this wring saying that I would get 7 days free then I would need to cancel otherwise they will be taking $69.90 per month. Wish I had found this first!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking out for everyone Ressler.
ReplyDeleteI was not able to check the Terms of Agreements on the second page which asked for the credit information. So the page never loaded, I got an error twice (thank god).
Did you experience this? And would I be safe if I never checked the box?
No you would not be safe if you never checked the box. Half of these sites don't even have the checkbox (like the one that hit me). The ones that do don't care whether you check the box or not. All they want is your credit card number. Once they have it...the ONLY way to protect yourself is to cancel your credit card, reverse any charges that may have already gone through from them and get a replacement card.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR TIME AND EFFORD TO CLARIFY THIS SCAM. BECAUSE I ALSO FELL VICTIM TO THIS SCAM. THANK GOD FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU
ReplyDeleteThank you for your very informative warning. I got this offer too. I had the same idea, pay a dollar to find out what it was. I am so glad I decided to read reviews about this google bizkit before signing up. I also got a warning on my computer that there is a some bug and antivirus on my computer caught it and quaranteened it. Be aware of even opening their websites.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteThank the Lord for you!
ReplyDeleteMy family has been going through a rough time. My hubby's pay/hours were cut and we have been visiting food pantry's! This would have really HURT US! I was so close to signing up.
I pray for blessings to shower down upon you for helping us all know the truth!
Thank you so much!
I forgot to mention I was on SparkPeople when I clicked on the scam/sponser..
ReplyDeleteI just contacted them and asked them to please remove the ad from their site and also warned Sparkers.
I have also posted warnings on my face book page and will e-mail family/friends and contact other web sites/forums I visit.
Thank you for the warning. I saw a letter from someone else about folks running the same scam by offering 'free' dvds where you only pay the shipping. I prefer to deal through PayPal or Clickbank where you have the option of stopping a recurring payment.
ReplyDeletethank you for the above-mentioned responsible warning!
ReplyDeleteGOD'S richest blessings to you and your family.
Thanks for the advice, I saw it and it screamed rubbish if it was that cheap.
ReplyDeleteIt is never cool to find yourself in the same company of others who have been ripped off just as you have, but then again, when you see it is someone at a powerful friendly website that you've been a part of and that the same crap keeps happening to others, you have to hope that someone will do a class action suit. I will be right there to give my proof of the rip off from Google Payday on my bank account that happened while I was on the other side of the country, visiting my hometown during the Independence Day celeration, only to find out that they did not take $1.95 s/h for the 'free CD" which I also never received, but also, the small amount of spending money I had budgeted for this trip home was absorbed in many bank fees and debits based on a $39.95 unauthorized membership fee that I never authorized and never budgeted for, and thank GOD the bank credited me my funds while they investigated the issue. I just sent them 14 pages in proof of the samy type of thing that happened here, and would LOVE for someone to tell me a class action suit is up against these fraudulent scammers!!!! I will use this as proof for my bank also, if what I have sent them doesn't cut the hidden small print bullcrap into shreds!!!
ReplyDeletewow, i almost fell victim..thanks alot man!!! so does this mean that all these work from home sited are frauds or are there any real ways to work on your pc and actually make a living? id really appreciate a reply and thank you again man god bless you!
ReplyDeleteYes there are way to work on your pc and actually make a living. But they require time and work. There are no ways for you to pay someone else some money and then be making loads of money the next day. The people that are selling you information on how to make money online are making there money by selling you that information because they don't know of any legit ways to make money online.
ReplyDeleteI have worked for the past several years as a freelance programmer and made a living doing it. Due to the economy my work load has since decreased so I am working on several projects in which I will be sharing my knowledge on how to set up websites as well as working with affiliate programs to make money online. I will not be SELLING this information but rather giving it away freely. My goal is to make my money through advertising on my sites rather than selling information that I believe should be given freely.
Thanks for the blog. I just read a story in the Los Angeles Tribune who is making money hand over fist using Google BizKIt, so I thought I would go to the site and have a look. I was getting ready to spend the $1.95 when I had second thoughts and decided to do a search for proof of legitimacy. Thank goodness I found you before I pulled the trigger on this scam. My question is what the hell is the LA Tribune doing running a positive story on this scam...do they not fact check anymore?
ReplyDeleteGo back to the that site and you will find that it is not in fact the Los Angeles Tribune. The entire site is fake and is just a doorway advertisement for this scam. The have fake newspaper sites for every major city that look just like the one you are talking about. That is exactly how I got hit with this.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! Thank you so much! I was just ready to do it and I decided to do some research and I found your blog.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for your blog. I've been scammed before on home based opportunities and am very wary of get rich quick schemes. My husband wanted to give it a shot, since it was from Google and it was only $1.95. But I knew if it was too good to be true, it really wasn't. Thanks for the heads up. I just forwarded our link to him.
ReplyDeleteThanks a Million !!! Saved a lot of hassle for me as well !!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. I am so glad to check carefully if this google biz is a scam or not. I mean i was thinking if this is easy money why would they only charge 1.95! ha! thank you again!
ReplyDeleteThanks, this info was exactly what I was looking for. I've always said, if it's this easy to make this kind of money, why isn't everyone doing it? As usual too good to be true!
ReplyDeleteSee THIS CRAP WOULDNT EVEN ACCURE IF THEY DIDNT GET AWAY WITH IT! SEE THEY DONT GET PROSECUTED AND IF THEY DO ALL THE MONEY GOES TO THE AGENCIES THAT ARE SUPPOSE TO PROTECT consumers!!!! THEY LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK! SUCKER BORN EVERY DAY!
ReplyDeleteI tried the adware/google thing about a year and a half ago..I just had my daughter and didn't want to return to work with her being so young and I found myself searching for anything that would allow me to stay at home with her and still manage to survive financially. I had a little money saved and decided to give it a shot..to my surprise and embarassment they billed me an excess of $60+ that I didn't really have to spend and it added unwanted stress to my life as a new mom who had no choice but to return to work :( I despise sites that are out to rip people off.. Also, there is alot more work involved than what they portray..DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU HAVE $ TO THROW AWAY!! DEE, FL
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting your comment. Most of who are still unemployed are looking for ways to make an income. Out of desperation, some of us will actually would try it and later find out we've been scammed out of our money. I almost considered it.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate you took the time to post your findings. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the warning! You are truly a wonderful person for taking the time to post this for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI foolishly purchased this bizkit last week. I also read all the fine print and thought $1.95 is worth the shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat should I do now...should I inform my bank not to allow them to bill my account? not sure that they can do this without changing my debit card.
You will need to tell your bank about it and have them hot card your debit card and issue you a new one like I did.
ReplyDeleteIf you just try to call and cancel they will charge your card anyway. This is not a legit business that is now in possession of your debit card number...it is a crook who now has it.
Thanks, anything like this is always too good to be true. I never saw anything that said $69.95/ month...glad I didn't send my card info.
ReplyDeleteYou are generous to share your bad experience with others. I thought it looked like a good deal too, now I know it's a scam
ReplyDeleteI was just about to try it because I am in need of money and willing to find it in legal ways rather than going the illegal route. I don't kmow how you took the previous comments/thanks but Thank You very much for taking your time out to do this for us all. With this recession going on, it's hard to even lose $1.95. God will bless you and your family for doing this. I have been searching over & over for ways to make extra money but still can't find one. I am still searching and hope I do soon. I read everybody's comment on here and I felt that everybody was sincere in thanking you. Keep up the great work in exposing these rotten scammers with no hearts for others.
ReplyDeleteI fell for this scam too. I just called and cancelled, thank God someone did answer the phone and gave me a cancellation#. I found the phone # om the terms and conditions which was on the bottom of the page. I can't believe I fell for this. The creator did a very good job using CNN's name and USA Today and of course Google's mame.. Forget about making money from home jobs. They simply don't exist.
ReplyDeleteOk....
ReplyDelete#1) Don't think that it is over for you just because you called the crooks on the phone and told them that you want them to stop stealing from you. They are going to still charge your card and when you call them back and give them that cancellation number they gave you they will deny every talking to you the first time.
#2) It is not true the "home jobs do not exist". I myself have worked from home for the past several years. I think you need to read this post and the other three posts on this subject more carefully.
Here is some more info on this company that's taking your money, they are out of salt lake city utah. (that makes me really mad because I'm from utah and it's a nice place) they are pacific webworks and the BBB has received numerous complaints. The owner ken bell looks like he make over $200,000 a year off inocent people. BBBhttp://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/computer-software-services/pacific-webworks-in-salt-lake-city-ut-2007120 Info on the owner info: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/person.asp?personId=404935&ric=PWEB.OB
ReplyDeleteI was just about to pay the fee for the cd. This stuff is so sad. People just want to make a living. Thank you sir.
ReplyDeleteI was checking this site out just before finding this blog (thank goodness I decided to "google" it first and found this!) As I was reading this, the scam page was still up on another tab. I went back to close it out, and a live agent began typing on the page saying "I know you are there! Just type Hi to let me know you are still with us, I have been authorized to give you a free online discount of $.99!" Really creepy! Then two boxes came up asking me if I was "sure" I wanted to navigate away from this site. "Jenny" kept typing as fast as she could to get me to talk with her and stay on the site. Really creepy to me.
ReplyDeleteAlso, they had a large sign (lack of a better term) below the credit card info spot stating there charges, and that one would also be charged $29.90/month for another offer attached to this scam. Then, as all of you say down at the bottom of the page it says MSN, CNN, MSNBC and Google do not in anyway endorse this site.
So I wonder with all this buzz about it being a scam if they have changed their site and are just hoping that no one will read the info and terms and conditions! Or, maybe the webpage changed after it set there for awhile like you were stating above.
Anyway, thought I would share my experience. I tried to post your blog link to the ad that came up this morning but it said it was closed due to spam!
Thanks so much for sharing. I'd be in the same mess right now had I not found this blog.
The first thing that tipped me off about this was that the address of the company didn't start with "google.com." After that, I started poking around on the google website to find any mention of it and that's how I got your post.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you got scammed and I really hope that you get your money refunded! What an awful site to prey on people who have fallen on hard times due to the economy!
Im curious about something like about the scam i was so tempted to pay that 1.95 until i ran into this blog , thank god ;) but still so many sites about it and people leave tons of reply about making money themselves could they actually got the program and made that much money ? or it could be fake account leaving phony messsages, what do you think ?
ReplyDeleteThe sites where you see comments from people claiming to have made lots of money with the program are fake. I know the ones you are talking about.
ReplyDeleteThese scammers make all kinds of fake sites to fool people. Some look like newspaper sites, some look like blog and or forum sites. But if you will notice that on all of those sites with the comments supporting the program you are not able to post a comment yourself. It's because they don't want any REAL person posting any comments about the scam.
These people that made these fake sites have really done there homework. You would think with what they know they could do something good and productive with there lives instead of ripping people off. The probblem is we have hopes and dreams and these scam artist suck out our banks like financial vampires.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that somone like rico777 posted this and exposed the truth for what it is , because it shows that deep down there's still good people in the world. When you have your site posted up about the information you would like to give out i think everyone on this blog would like to hear about it , since you have convinced 99.9% of them that you don't live on other peoples misfortunes. So please keep us posted with your progress.
Thank you so much. I was just about to pay the $1.95 when I came across this article. You are a life saver.
ReplyDeleteGood man, the Internet is a safer place with people like you posting their personal experiences.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting this blog. Do you know of any (work at home opportunities) that are on the level, and not a SCAM?
ReplyDeletei almost fall for it THANK YOU RICO777!!!
ReplyDeleteEveryone you prevented from falling victim to this scam should send YOU $1 using paypal
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning
Thank you for this information. I was misled by the Google logo, but fortunately noticed a tiny footnote saying that the Google company has nothing to do with this Biz thing. I guess anyone can cut and paste a company logo. I googled "Google Biz Kit consumer info" and your site came up, thank goodness!
ReplyDelete....i have been given a hard time by my family for falling for this SCAM!! i believed i was ONLY paying a one off fee of £1.20 and then noticed the debits on my credit card and wondered what they were - the light slowly dawned and spent an hour at the bank today trying to sort it. Their fraud department want me to 'contact the company' to cancel but very difficult when you have no contact details - and your info confirms thats a dead end anyway. I do not intend to let this go and the fraud dept are going to investigate. We also have a fantastic guy in this country called Martin Lewis who is brilliant on money matters and i am going to contact him. I hate it that these fraudsters are getting there own way and hope all will do their best to get refunded.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting this! I just wrote an article about it myself and linked back to this post as a reference.
ReplyDeleteI foolishly signed up yesterday, and like you, figured it was worth the $1.95 to find out what they had to offer. I thought things were weird when I got a phone call from someone there verifying all my information. I did some research, found out it was a scam, and called my bank to cancel my debit and issue me a new one. Is there anything else I need to do to prevent any unauthorized charges from this scam, or is cancelling my debit card enough? x_x Thank you so much for this blog post!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I put in some of my information in hopes of going further into a website for more info but became reluctant after they immediately asked for a credit card number. Last night I got a call from a rep and they were pushing for me to sign up. They were hesitant to reveal to me the 69.95 monthly fee but had no choice as I kept pushing the question of "how much more is this going to cost me?". I kept telling them that I would like to take some time do some research, as well as go back and carefully read the terms and conditions and privacy policy. She did not react well to this and told me that there was nothing to add to what she has already told me...this of course was before she finally broke down and told me that I would be charged 69.95 monthly for the use of their website...I just hung up on her. The way I figure if you can't just give the information before asking for credit card #'s then I am just not interested!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading this blog I am definitely NOT signing up for this at all. I also see that alot of people have no contact info for the company...1-866-511-2427 is the support phone # that I was given last night, so hopefully that will help.
I just recvd the call this morning for the offer and was not able to check on the credibility of them until now, after a day of off and on research of the USELESS FREE info avaliable, tried calling the Click Sell Go 800-353-4581 # and ask them to cancel: but after hours, I will try tomorrow to call and cancel, I suspect I must also get to my bank and cancel my card that they have now on file for my $1.98 charge 7 day trial.
ReplyDeleteIs there any other suggestions for what else I should do?
I think it should be illegal for these people to falsely use legit names of companies like CNN and Google. These scams should just be illegal period. Maybe they are part of the failing economy.
ReplyDeleteVery Good post, Im going to send a forward to all my contacts to this link...Thanks a lot a was about to Sing In, just to find out and Im a Programmer too.
ReplyDeletethank you for the save..
ReplyDeletei also was dooped today. i checked my balance today to see a debit of $79.90 was being debited. soooooooooooo pissed.. nothing on the site (that was visible)
ReplyDeleteAccording to http://www.findaffiliateoffers.com/index.php?function=search&search=online+cash+success&= there are at least 3 cpa networks promoting this scam. Luckily tracking them down is a lot easier than finding their affiliates – so feel free to contact the with any complaints:

Just a heads up for anyone out here that has little or no experience with online money making scams. If it requires a Credit card # for anything be sure to do your homework first. NEVER type out your credit card # for anyone or anything online until you try the Phone #s and E-mail links first. You will find out there are many false phone numbers attached to these sites and most people never find out until its too late. Also it never hurts to check with the better business bureau if you're in the US or Canada.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the article. In Portugal I don't need to go o the bank for cancel a credit or debit card because I always use a virtual card given by MBNet that is associete to your credit/debit card because here my bank and other banks don't left their costumers use their credit/debit card on a internet purchase. Also you can use in stores purchase. I do the purchase and then at that moment I can cancel the virtual debit card.
ReplyDeleteIt is actually a Re-Bill Offer. Your Article about this issue is really awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted your experience. I too am in the business and I have to say, I wouldn't have seen the scam. Here's something I have started doing: I get a Prepaid credit card - easy and free. I put precisely the amount on it I plan on spending and then I give them their $1.95 in this case. Any subsequent charge bounces! It is possible to do this online so you don't have to do a lot of work.
ReplyDeletethx you saved my ass thx buddy i love you
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up. I wasn't going to sign up but was curious if there was a good review out there about the Google biz kit. Good work :)
ReplyDeleteI fell for this as well. I noticed in the e-mail they sent me that I was going to incur those extra charges and I called them and seemed to have succeeded in cancelling the order. I told the guy on the other end of the line that I wanted to cancel and he seemed ok with it (probably because he knows it is a scam). Hopefully they didn't pass my information along to anyone else before I was able to cancel.
ReplyDeleteRead this just in time. Amazes me that Google is not taking a pro-active approach to stop these scam artists. They certainly have more resources then the unfourtunate people getting ripped off. These crooks are among the worst, taking advantage of the unemployed during a recession.
ReplyDeleteUNFORTANETLY, i fell for it and only afterwards i found your article, but thankyou for your article and helped reassure myself i wasn't a mindless idiot that just clicked yes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information. I was about to sign up and saw the alert and came across ur blog. You're a life saver; I hope u've gotten ur money back from them. It's sad in these tough times there are folks out there playing on people emotions.

Thanks so much for this information. I signed up, but stop short once I was asked for my credit card information. I Google this information for reviews and your review came up. Thanks so much. I normally search for reviews on anything I buy nowadays - because people are such scammers. I thought it was strange and I figured it was a weird that they only wanted a $1.95 up front. I should have known their were hidden charges.
ReplyDeleteI unfortunately did not do any type of research before checking out this business. I did fall victim to this ridiculous scam. What makes people think they can do this and steal money from hard working hawaiian families with 5 kids. This is just unbelieveable. Any way I'm trying to fix it! I am totally not going to do no more business thingss on line any more I can't afford it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rico

This is so nasty, I was first charged 4.97, them
ReplyDelete86.97 at the beginning of the month, when I called my credit card office, I had to cancel
my card to stop the charges from continuing.
after calling them to stop the charges, they wanted me to stop disputing the charges before
they gave me a confirmation number of the cancellation....and would not give me any information as to whom to contact to get refunded.....Does anyone know what we can do
to get the charges reversed or if there is someone taken action on these people.
I had my credit card number typed in and all but never hit submit because i saw the * next to somehting on the top and then read the footer explaining the charges. There is no way that I can be charged if I did not hit submit is there?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your blog you have helped a lot of people!
As long as you did not hit submit you are fine.
ReplyDeleteTHESE PEOPLE HAVE A NEW SCAM!!! If you still have the same credit or debit card they hit you with, CANCEL IT NOW!!! You will receive unauthorized charges in the amounts of $47.50 and/or $99 MULTIPLE TIMES, often in the same day, from something called BIZKIT. It gives you a phone number of 877-435-6156 on your bank statement. When you call the number it gives you NO info as to who the company is, just says leave a message after the tone. Then it says the mailbox you are calling cannot accept any more messages and disconnects. They continually hit our bank account with these charges on Jan. 28, 2010 until they WIPED US OUT!!! We were left with $2.01 when we had several hundred in the bank!
ReplyDeleteIf you did the GoogleAd thing, as my husband did, you are in for a lot of longtime grief. I REPEAT, IF YOU STILL HAVE THE SAME DEBIT/CREDIT CARD YOU USED WITH GOOGLE, CANCEL IT NOW!!!
DEFINITELY cancel any card you gave to these scammers!! They WILL continue to charge it even after giving you a confirmation # for closing your "account".
ReplyDeleteI personally will pursue this scam as much as I possibly can. It needs to end! I am filing a complaint with ic3.gov (Internet Crime Complaint Center, affiliated with the FBI), please do the same!
I am also looking into initiating a class action lawsuit!
Please keep us updated on this for I too have fallen a victim. I called the number and got Loli Sanchez too. She refused to let me speak to a supervisor and said the supervisors are for administrative business purposes only. She tried to get information from me and I told her she already has my information since they have been charging my credit card. Getting no where with her, I went through my credit card and filed a dispute. I also alerted the 29 eyewitness news station to have this investigated. Hopefully they will air something on the news to make more people aware. Please keep us updated on that class action lawsuit.

I had been looking at this site but there is one thing that I have learned the hard way like you is whenever there is a small fee and the only way to pay is by bank card, I avoid it now. And I thought I would out smart them by using a gift card (mastercard) which no surprise, did not work.
ReplyDeleteI actually get work at home offers now where they will not even accept a money order. That says to me, "we cannot accept any method of payment where you don't provide your bank card information so we can scam you."
Thanks so much for sharing your story. I have been scammed so many times now and any time, any way we can prevent the thieves from taking from those really trying to earn is a great thing. Sorry that this happened though.
Best of luck in all your endeavers to Make money
holy crap that was close! thnx
